This book is awesome! It is a little sad, too. Ollie, the main character, is going through a very hard time. Her father just left for France with Vouly Vou; a girl he left Ollie’s mom for. That leaves Ollie’s mom with her depression being even worse than it was before. As the weeks go by, it gets so bad she is not even getting out of bed. I was so intrigued to go on the adventure with Ollie on her everyday life when she was practically on her own. I wish that it had a few more details in the beginning because it wasn’t really a page turner like some other books I have read. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the book, but maybe would have appreciated a more suspenseful opening. Other than that I loved the book! I hope the author is making a sequel!

Nikki on the Line is about a girl named Nikki who loves basketball. She just made an elite basketball team. She has to babysit her brother to have enough money to pay for the team. Her best friend Aria is starting to drift away, and it’s especially hard when one of your teammate’s dad calls you a black hole on the basketball court.

THIS BOOK IS NOW MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!!! I feel like it was amazingly written. But honestly, the ending could’ve been a little bit different. I think the author could write another book as a sequel to continue Nikki teaching Sam how to play, and the
Action winning Nationals. I give this book a 100/5!! What book is the next big thing? This one ALL THE WAY!!

This book is about a girl named Caterpillar and her brother with special needs named Chicken. They have a summer that no one will ever forget when they get to meet new family. My favorite part of the book is when Cat (Caterpillar) wins second place in a fishing contest. I like this book because you never know what will happen next. There are so many twist and turns. I give this book 5 stars.
