Tom is sent to the hospital after being hit by a nasty cricket ball to his head. On the way he meets George, Amber, Robin and the porter, who are all  part of the midnight gang. All of the children have been going on adventures to have their dreams come true. The porter helps them on their way to their adventures with the newest member, Tom. The story centers around Tom and the midnight gang going on different scenarios of making their dreams come to life and the consequences that follow along. The matron is trying to stop the gang from their adventures. There are loads more characters and funny and sad scenarios that will give you an experience of joy that makes 476 pages worth the reading when the book is published in February! If you like Roald Dahl, I recommend this book, which I give a 10/5.
